From a Skinny Little Girl with a Sewing Machine to a Fashion Dream Come True!
I've been designing and creating clothes for as long as I can remember.
It all started when I was a skinny, twiggy little girl who couldn't find jeans or clothes that fit properly. I wanted to look like everyone else, but everything seemed to hang off me!
My father taught me how to sew, and before long, I was taking in my own jeans, altering my clothes, and discovering the wonderful world of creating something uniquely my own.
Little did I know those early sewing lessons would become such a big part of my creative life.
As my career in music and entertainment took off, so did my love of fashion and costume design. I began designing and making stage costumes not only for myself, but also for dancers, cast members, crew, and lead singers.
When my husband at the time and I created our rock band, Powder, fashion became an even bigger part of my artistic expression. I worked for a time with designer John Shay, eventually taking over the design and creation of my own stage wardrobe.
I've always loved clothes that make a statement. A little unexpected, a little outrageous, and definitely not afraid to stand out!
And Then Came Luckie Junkie!
Creating my own fashion line has been a dream of mine for years, and Luckie Junkie is that dream coming to life.
At the heart of Luckie Junkie is my passion for bold, contemporary print design with a vintage-bohemian twist.
I love bringing together unexpected visual textures—distressed denim, animal prints, florals, stitching, stripes, and playful details—and transforming them into imaginative, layered artwork.
Here's where the magic happens: what looks like a combination of different fabrics, textures, and three-dimensional details is actually PRINT!
Through detailed, high-quality printed imagery, I create the illusion of texture, depth, and dimension. It's fashion that plays with your eyes, combining the appearance of multiple materials into one expressive design.
I call it Conscious Couture—fashion created with imagination, intention, personality, and a whole lot of high-frequency energy.
There's something wonderfully playful about wearing a design that looks like a patchwork of textures and unexpected materials, only to discover it's all part of the print.
I love fashion that stands out in a crowd, makes you smile, and inspires someone to stop and ask: “Oh my gosh, where did you get that?”

I have so many ideas still waiting to come to life, including dreams of creating an entire collection of shoes and expanding the line in all sorts of exciting directions.
